In the 1st half of 2023, fintechs maintained their consistency seen in recent periods in Brazil, but began to share their protagonism with more sectors: the five main fundraisings in the period were Órigo Energia (Energytech), Digibee (Deeptech), Daki (Supplychain), Superlógica Tecnologias (Fintech) e VIPe (Fintech).

The emergence of more mature solutions in other sectors has boosted the retailtech, edtech and healthtech segments, and the expectation for the coming months is the rise of deeptech and cybersecurity due to the maturation of solutions related to artificial intelligence, seen in the first half of the year.

During the period, funding was more diluted in start-up companies, boosting rounds with a lower average ticket than seen in previous rounds.
