The per capita Venture Capital investment reflects the level of support for the innovation ecosystem and, consequently, the economic growth potential of a region. However, when we analyze the numbers, the difference between the world's leading economies is striking.

In the United States, per capita Venture Capital investment exceeds $700. In Europe, the average is approximately $150, while in Latin America, this amount ranges from $7 to $12.
This discrepancy highlights both a challenge and a significant opportunity to strengthen the innovation ecosystem in Latin America.
The low investment in the region directly impacts innovation capacity, business competitiveness, and sustainable economic growth. Countries like Brazil, Mexico, and Colombia still invest 100 times less per capita than the U.S. — a gap that urgently needs to be closed.
